Ferries and Ferry Companies Operating
(Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark)

DFDS Seaways, Polferries and Flyvebadene are the main companies operating out of the Port of Copenhagen, providing service to Helsingborg, Sweden, Oslo, Norway, Swinoujscie, Poland and Malmø, Sweden.

DFDS Seaways

The Copenhagen-Helsingborg-Oslo route is serviced by DFDS Seaways, connecting Denmark's capital with the Capital of Norway, via Helsingborg, Sweden.

The Crown of Scandinavia and Pearl of Scandinavia, the two largest and most modern vessels in the DFDS fleet, operate a daily service, with one departure daily from Oslo and Copenhagen, stopping at Helsingborg en route. The crossing takes 16 hours. Both vessels have a capacity in excess of 2,000 passengers.

Polferries is the largest Polish ferry operator, providing passenger and vehicle services on the route from Copenhagen to Swinoujscie, Poland onboard the M/F Pomerania. The ship has excellent facilities onboard including shops, a café, restaurant, bar, conference rooms and a sauna and Jacuzzi. There are four crossings weekly - on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays during the low seasons - and five weekly crossings in the summer, with the additional crossing on Thursdays. The Monday, Wednesday and Friday crossings are at night and take 12 hours, while the Sunday daytime crossing only takes 9 hours, 30 minutes.

Flyvebadene offers high-speed hydrofoil service between Copenhagen and Malmo, Sweden. The short 45-minute trip is scheduled several times each day.
